Damn you, Priceline

Would someone care to explain to me why a roundtrip ticket from Philadelphia to Paris is $705 (pretty good deal!) but a one-way is over $1300?? All I want is to fly to Paris, stay for a few days, hop over the channel to England for a while, then fly home from London. Is that so hard?!

I am trying to formulate a plan to visit both France and England in the month of April, when my friends in both countries will be on spring break and thus will have time to show me around. I am currently engaged in feverish negotiations with both parties trying to figure out when I'm going to be where, how long I'm staying, where we're staying, what we'll be eating and what we'll be seeing and ahgashgjsahjkf! Trying to squeeze several London museums, Oxford, Chatsworth, various Paris neighborhoods and Versailles into a week or so is apparently quite the challenge.

Ah yes, courtesy of my mobile, this is what things look like here at the moment:

Such a lovely sight to wake up to :) Now if only the library would've opened late, like the local schools!
